Tip #1

Decorate garlands and trees with lights before you add the ornaments so you won’t have to restring the lights if you want to move ornaments.

Tip #2

Use wire or pipe cleaners to fasten wreaths, swags, garlands or ornaments to the banister.

Tip #5

If you still want to decorate but are trying to save money, pay more for a good tree and garlands so it’ll last you a long time. Then you can always purchase more as time goes by.

Tip #6

For a dash of shimmer, hang an ornament from a lampshade.

Tip #7

Do you have bigger ornaments that sit oddly because branches are in the way? If so, don’t be afraid to take some branches out. You can also do this to one side of the tree if you want to put it up against a corner of the wall.
